Essential Oils for Fatigue

Lavender and Rosewood Oil

I’ve grouped them together just because I’m showing the same study to support their use. The study showed that Lavender and Rosewood oil could reduce the fatigue of nurses working their shifts.

Peppermint Oil, Basil Oil, and Helichrysum Oil

A study using all three together, peppermint oil, basil oil, and helichrysum oil had positive results. It can’t be said for certain how well they would each do alone, peppermint oil, basil oil, or helichrysum oil.

Sweet Orange

Along with lavender, sweet orange was shown to be effective on the fatigue of hemodialysis patients. It also found that massaging the essential oils in was more effective than aromatherapy.

A few studies show it to help with fatigue, along with several other issues, such as stress.

Of course, you’ll find lists of 10-20 essential oils that supposedly fight fatigue, but I could only find evidence for the ones listed here.
