For the Unhappy Christian: A Workbook to Encourage Healing

As Christians, we are called to a life of joy. We’ve been saved, to spend all of eternity with Christ, never to suffer again. That’s something that should bring us joy, right?

But it’s not always that easy. Here, in this fallen world, where we are surrounded by temptation and countless evils, it can be difficult to always maintain a posture of joy and unconditional love. Often, the easiest thing to do is slink into a mood of irritability and sadness. We do everything we’re supposed to do—pray, read the Bible, and go to church, yet we come up empty. What do we need to do to dispel this darkness?

I don’t necessarily have the answer, but this workbook is intended to help you find it. I’m offering everything I have in the hopes that at least a tittle of it will have a positive impact on you.

I’ll be praying for you. God loves you with immeasurable love. That’s why He commands us to a life of joy. We are called to spread the good news with rejoicing and thanksgiving, demonstrating by our joy to all we meet that we are not of this world but have been taken out of this world by our savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
